It has been a celebratory few weeks for me- and has given me the opportunity to enjoy some of my favorite 80's bands in back to back weekends! Last weekend found Bijoux at Totally 80's at the Hollywood Bowl for Bow Wow Wow, The Motels, Psychadelic Furs, and The Go-Gos. This weekend   I was fortunate enough to be back at the Bowl for Peter Gabriel ( if you ever get the chance, he is stellar live!), and last night, joy of all joys brought me to the Greek theatre for New Order. The band hasn't toured in 7 years, and they still are fabulous as ever! Those that know me, know I refer to my " Holy Trinity": New Order, Depeche Mode, and the Pet Shop Boys". These bands made up a large chunk of my vinyl collection. Look for my reviews of these concerts in the next week or so, and also a blog I am inspired to write on concert etiquitte at the Hollywood Bowl ( and other large concert arenas).

I also travelled downtown on Friday night to see my favorite electronic DJ, BT, at Exchange LA.

It was a full on , get your groove on birthday celebration weekend!

Speaking of downtown, catch me at LA Decompression at my camps' sound stage( Playa 54) in the Beer Garden. My set is 10:30pm-midnight- I'll be playing my usual fabulous 80's Disco and House!
